What Lumino is

Lumino is an AI-powered creative suite for content creators. We bring together avatar video generation, voice cloning, text-to-speech, AI photo studio, expert writing, document templates, real-time camera restyling, and other creator tools under a single authenticated account and a single credit balance. Our goal is to make professional-quality AI generation accessible to individual creators without the friction of stitching together five different vendors.

Company

Lumino is operated by Lumino Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States.

We are a small, independent team. We build, operate, and support the product directly. Lumino is not white-labelled, resold, or operated on behalf of a third party.

How we build

Lumino integrates with established third-party AI providers rather than training our own foundation models. We orchestrate the generation pipeline, handle billing and account management, and apply our own policy layer.

  • Generation: Decart, fal.ai, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Google AI.
  • Infrastructure: Vercel (frontend), Railway (backend), Supabase (database and storage), Cloudflare R2 (video storage), Redis (job queue).
  • Email and communications: Resend.
  • Payments: NOWPayments for cryptocurrency settlement.

Each provider has its own acceptable-use policy. We respect those policies on top of our own. See our Responsible AI page for the full provider map.

How we make money

Users prepay for credits and spend them across the platform. Credits never expire. We do not run advertising, do not sell user data, and do not earn affiliate commissions on our model providers. Revenue comes entirely from credit purchases. Profitability comes from the margin between the upstream model cost per generation and the user-facing credit price.

What we will not build

Lumino has a small, deliberate set of capabilities we will not offer, regardless of demand: tools that target named real people, tools designed to bypass another platform's security, tools that generate real (as opposed to clearly-simulated) financial or identity documents, and tools that produce sexual content involving any person who has not given explicit consent.
